Visitors to the site will be able to stay up to date with fluctuating medical marijuana trends around the world, in a similar way stock market investors use the website bloomberg.com to stay up to date with worldwide business trends and stock quotes. Thus producing the name "Cannaberg", a hybrid result of Cannabis and Bloomberg.

How can Cannaberg do this? The idea is simple and relies on pot users to submit information on there current locations medical weed prices, quality and strain. The information is then viewable on a google map for visitors to browse. Cannaberg will have other features similar to Bloomberg as well, like live charts and a market snapshot.

The medical marijuana industry has had a recent boom in small startups due to the changing laws in california and colorado. More states are soon to be legalizing this herb as well.
